This event,
which is organized jointly with Swiss-US American Chamber of Commerce
(Amcham) and the CVCI, will allow us to discuss the proposals
of the Republicans in the House of Representatives (GOP Tax Plan) aiming
at reshaping US corporate tax policy such as, in particular:
· A general
reduction of US corporate income tax.
· A border
adjusted” tax policy which would exempt exports and tax imports into the US.
To discuss
these issues and their potential impact for Switzerland and Europe,
the Tax Policy Center is proud to welcome the leading US tax expert, Professor
David Rosenbloom, Visiting Professor, New York University, Partner
Caplin and Drysdale. The presentation shall be followed by a
panel discussion led by Professor Jean-Pierre Danthine, Honorary
Professor, HEC Lausanne, former Vice-President of the Swiss National Bank,
Chairman of Paris School of Economics and Professor Robert Danon, co-director
of the Tax Policy
Center.
We truly hope
that you shall be able to join us and look forward to welcoming you.
On behalf of
the Tax Policy Center,
Yours sincerely,
